WhatsApp Business’ test version will no longer keep forwarded messages anonymous. When a message is forwarded, the original sender’s name and phone number will now appear automatically.
The change is intended to increase transparency and limit misinformation and content theft. It is also expected to bring user privacy and digital security back into focus.
