US President Donald Trump said talks with Iran are going well, but linked any nuclear agreement to the expansion of the Abraham Accords and said regional powers should join them. He said the outcome would be either a deal that is “great for everybody” or no agreement at all.
Trump said he would welcome Iran’s participation in the Abraham Accords, adding that the framework should be broadened. He also urged Saudi Arabia and Qatar to sign the agreements.
The president warned that if the negotiations fail, the situation could “turn into a battlefield.” He did not provide further details on the substance of the talks.
