State Meteorological Service Forecasts Clear Skies and Rising Temperatures

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The State Meteorological Service reported that clear and stable weather conditions are expected across most of the country on Monday, June 1, 2026. Central and northern regions will experience intermittent cloud cover, with temperatures in these areas forecast to rise slightly compared to the previous day. Southern regions are also expected to see a temperature increase of several degrees. Winds are projected to blow from the northwest at light to moderate speeds. The agency has also released preliminary weather forecasts for Tuesday.
