BAGHDAD, Iraq — The exchange rate for the U.S. dollar rose against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad and Erbil on Monday morning. In Baghdad’s Kifah and Harithiya currency markets, the price for 100 dollars climbed to 153,500 dinars, up from 153,300 dinars the previous day.
Local exchange shops in Baghdad reported selling 100 dollars for 154,000 dinars, with a purchase price of 153,000 dinars.
In Erbil, the dollar also saw an increase, reaching 153,100 dinars for sales and 153,000 dinars for purchases.
