Iraq Stock Exchange to close Thursday for Ghadir holiday

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The Iraq Stock Exchange said it will not hold a trading session on Thursday, June 4, 2026, because of the Ghadir holiday. The exchange said the decision was based on the Cabinet Secretariat’s declaration of that day as an official public holiday. Trading sessions will resume on Sunday, June 7, 2026, the exchange said. The Iraq Stock Exchange holds five sessions a week and includes 104 Iraqi companies in banking, communications, industry, agriculture, insurance, financial investment, tourism, hotels and services.
