WASHINGTON, United States โ U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham said after a meeting with Donald Trump that he supported an agreement with Iran, but only if it included talks to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end Iranโs nuclear ambitions and support for terrorism.
In a post on X on the same issue, Graham wrote that he believed Trump would ultimately not accept a โbad dealโ with Iran.
Graham also said Israel should be allowed to defend itself against Hezbollah attacks from Lebanon, arguing that a ceasefire would allow Hezbollah to rearm.
On Hamas, he said Israel should be allowed to act against the group.
