Iraq passport ranked among the world’s weakest in May

An international ranking showed that the Iraqi passport was among the lowest-rated passports worldwide in May. The assessment was based on the number of countries holders can enter without a visa or with a visa on arrival. In the Arab world, the United Arab Emirates ranked first, followed by Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman. In North Africa, Morocco had the region’s strongest passport, with Tunisia and Algeria placed further down the list. Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon were positioned in the middle range, while Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Somalia were at the bottom of the ranking.
