Iraq Interior Ministry Says Eid al-Adha Plan Ended Without Fires

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq’s Interior Ministry said the security and service plan for Eid al-Adha was completed successfully and without any fires. The ministry made the announcement in Baghdad, saying the plan was one of its most successful this year. Officials said the operation was carried out amid security stability and orderly organization. They said intelligence-based work and good coordination strengthened the security situation in cities and made the holiday period more comfortable for residents. The ministry also said traffic accidents fell to one of their lowest levels in years, while no fire incidents were recorded. It added that stability was maintained in markets and that the traffic plan was implemented successfully across all provinces.
