Iranian President Invites Iraqi President to Tehran

Iraqi President Nizar Amidi received an official invitation to Tehran during a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional developments. They exchanged greetings for the holiday and expressed wishes for peace, security and prosperity for the peoples of Iraq and Iran. Both sides stressed the importance of reducing regional tensions through dialogue and diplomacy. The call also addressed the need to further develop political, economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
