The dollar strengthened against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad and Erbil markets in evening trading, with the main Baghdad currency market quoting 100 dollars at 153450 dinars. That was up from 153300 dinars in the morning, underscoring renewed pressure on the dinar in the two major markets.
In Baghdad's free market, the selling rate was recorded at 154000 dinars and the buying rate at 153000 dinars. In Erbil, the dollar's selling price reached 153100 dinars, while the buying price stood at 153000 dinars.
