Iran says it downed MQ-9 drone during U.S. attack

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it shot down an MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicle during a U.S. attack on southern Iran. The Guard said the target was hit after advanced intelligence tracking. In the same statement, it said it also fired at an RQ-4 drone and an F-35 fighter jet, adding that the aircraft moved away from Iranian airspace. The Guard said it reserved the right to respond if the U.S. military violated a ceasefire.
