The Trump administration has released a new tranche of previously classified UFO files, making public 46 unreleased military videos, photographs and reports. The material adds fresh detail to longstanding U.S. documentation of unidentified aerial phenomena.
The newly disclosed records include accounts of mysterious objects observed over the Gulf, Afghanistan and the East China Sea. Some of the descriptions refer to bright orbs moving at high speed and objects likened to a โtic tacโ shape.
The files also contain audio recordings relating to strange events observed by the Apollo 12 crew in space in 1969. The archive expands the range of historical and military cases now available for public review.
Among the documents are reports that an F-16 fighter jet shot down an unidentified object over Lake Huron in Michigan in 2023. The release adds another high-profile incident to the broader U.S. debate over unexplained aerial encounters.
