Saudi Arabia-Iraq trade reached $1.7 billion in 2025, statistics agency says

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's trade with Iraq reached approximately $1.7 billion in 2025, according to data released Monday by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics. Saudi exports to Iraq totaled about $1.661 billion, while Iraqi exports to Saudi Arabia stood at roughly $18 million, leaving a wide trade imbalance in favor of the kingdom. The top Saudi exports included grain and flour-based preparations valued at $237 million, electrical equipment and apparatus at $221 million, and aluminum and aluminum products at $160 million. Iraqi exports to Saudi Arabia were led by aluminum products, works of art and antiques, and plant gums and extracts, the authority said. The authority noted that bilateral trade between the two countries has continued to grow.
