Nechirvan Barzani calls on Kurdish parties to work together

ERBIL, Iraq — Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani on Sunday called on political parties and forces in Kurdistan to work together to preserve current gains. He made the appeal in a congratulatory message sent to Justice Community of Kurdistan President Ali Bapir. In the message, Barzani stressed the importance of strengthening national unity and mutual understanding among parties and political groups. He said that was necessary to protect the higher interests of the people. Barzani also said joint work was needed to move toward a more prosperous and stable future for Kurdistan.
