SULAYMANIYAH, Iraq โ Kurdish artist Kamal Mohammed will stage a charity concert at Sulaymaniyah's Sanat Hall on August 27, 2026, with all proceeds directed to Hewa Hospital, which treats cancer patients.
Speaking at a press conference attended by his agency, Mohammed said he was pleased to support Hewa Hospital and stressed that artists are part of the community and carry a responsibility to help citizens. He added that performers can take part in humanitarian initiatives and contribute to public services.
The singer also said he would be willing to organize a similar benefit concert for Nankali Hospital in Erbil if the necessary arrangements are made. No further details on ticket sales or venue logistics were immediately available.
