BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Supreme Judicial Council President, Chief Justice Faik Zeydan, received Lt. Gen. Zaid Havshi, head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, at his office on Thursday, according to a council statement.
Zeydan congratulated Havshi on his new appointment. The two officials discussed joint work and coordination between the Supreme Judicial Council and the Counter-Terrorism Service, the statement said.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two institutions and improving coordination between the Counter-Terrorism Service and the judiciary.
