BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's General Directorate of Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring said Thursday that weather across the country would remain clear and sunny, with partly cloudy conditions possible in northern areas during the evening and overnight hours. The agency's daily report said temperatures on Friday are expected to drop slightly in central and northern regions, while the south is forecast to record values close to current levels.
Morning and overnight conditions will be relatively mild, according to the directorate. Winds are expected to blow from the northwest at light to moderate speeds, increasing during daytime hours in eastern parts of the southern region.
Authorities issued a general advisory urging citizens to avoid prolonged direct sun exposure, particularly during daytime hours. No further details on temperature ranges or specific regional readings were immediately provided.
