Iraq Forecast Calls for Clear Skies and Lower Temperatures

Iraq’s General Authority for Meteorology said on Monday, 25 May 2026, that the country will see mostly clear weather across the central and northern regions, with some cloud cover, while temperatures are expected to ease in the south. The outlook matters for daily activity nationwide as conditions remain stable in much of the country. The northern parts of the northern region are expected to see light thundershowers. In the south, skies will be partly cloudy. Temperatures in the central and northern regions are forecast to remain close to Tuesday’s levels. In the south, temperatures are expected to fall by a few degrees.
