The General Directorate of Cargo in Iraq issued instructions to ease visitor entry at all border cargo centers for Eid al-Adha, aiming to ensure the highest possible flow and order during the religious holiday. The move is intended to accommodate the nature of the pilgrimage and the rising number of visitors.
Director-General Thamer Qassim Davud said the agency had begun implementing a special organization and service plan under the directives of Prime Minister Ali Falih el-Zidi and Finance Minister Felah Sari. He stressed the importance of speeding up and facilitating procedures while remaining fully compliant with legal regulations.
Work has been intensified in coordination with security units to ensure visitors can enter smoothly and services continue without interruption. The measures are designed to support orderly movement at border cargo centers throughout the holiday period.
