Iran's Kermanshah wins gold and silver at International Wushu Championship in Georgia

Kermanshah, in western Iran, concluded its participation in the International Wushu Championship held in Georgia with multiple medals, according to the province's Wushu Federation. The Iranian delegation included five athletes in Sanda and one in Taolu, supported by technical staff Ali Ferazmend Nia and Maryam Mohammadi Nour. In the Sanda discipline, Arsham Gaderbana won gold in the stars' 36 kg category. Tohure Muzaffari claimed gold in the youth 56 kg class, while Kimiya Simaeizad took gold in the youth 60 kg division and was also named best tactical athlete in her category. Marina Roustar secured silver in the stars' 56 kg women's event, and Maryam Fe'le Gari won gold along with a cash prize in the seniors' 65 kg category. In Taolu, Sobhan Kunani earned a silver medal in the seniors' category. The championship drew competitors from 13 countries, according to the federation statement.
