Iran restarts production at three South Pars offshore platforms

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Production resumed today at three offshore platforms in Iran’s South Pars gas field, Reuters reported. South Pars is among the most important fields in Iran’s gas sector for domestic supply and export output. The agency did not say why production had been halted or describe the technical work carried out before the platforms were brought back into service.
