Islamic Supreme Council leader Hamam Hammudi said there is no alliance among the major blocs and warned that any side leaving the Coordination Framework would be the loser. He described the framework as a red line and said no alliance outside it would be accepted.
Hammudi said the framework’s unity is more important than temporary interests and stressed that forming the Council of Ministers must be secured through consensus inside the framework. He added that past mistakes will not be repeated.
He also called for blocking media campaigns that threaten national unity, saying political disputes should not be allowed to undermine the state. Hammudi said such campaigns must be prevented from deepening division.
On the institutional level, he said the Iraqi Parliament bears full responsibility for overseeing the government’s course. He framed that role as essential to protecting the political process and preserving national stability.
