Dollar holds above 154,000 dinar in Baghdad and Erbil

BAGHDAD, Iraq โ The U.S. dollar traded above 154,000 Iraqi dinar on currency markets in Baghdad and Erbil on Wednesday, holding close to the previous day's level with only a small decline, according to currency data from local exchanges.
At Baghdad's Al-Kifil and Al-Harithiya exchanges, the selling price stood at 154,250 dinar per 100 dollars, compared with 154,350 dinar a day earlier. At city exchange offices, the selling price was 154,750 dinar and the buying price 153,750 dinar per 100 dollars.
In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, exchange offices recorded a similar pattern, with 100 dollars selling for 154,250 dinar and buying at 154,200 dinar.
Despite the slight downward movement, the dollar remained firmly above the 154,000-dinar threshold in both cities.
