Two Terror Suspects Detained in Dair District of Salahuddin

The Popular Mobilization Forces said two terror suspects were detained in eastern Salahuddin during an intelligence-led operation in Dair district, underscoring continuing security sweeps in the area. The arrests were carried out by elements of the 9th Brigade under the Northern and Eastern Tigris Command. The operation was conducted in coordination with intelligence and counterterrorism units in Dair, where the suspects were caught in an ambush set by the force. No resistance was reported during the operation. The detained men were wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, according to the statement. They were transferred to the relevant authorities for legal procedures.
