Two Fires in Baghdad’s Rusafa District Brought Under Control

Two separate fires broke out in Baghdad’s Rusafa district and were brought under control by firefighting teams, with no casualties reported. The incidents occurred in Baghdad Jadida and on Abu Nuwas Street. The first fire started in a warehouse in Baghdad Jadida used to store household goods. Fire crews contained the blaze before it spread to adjacent buildings, preventing wider damage in the area. The second fire erupted in a container linked to the Popular Mobilization Forces headquarters on Abu Nuwas Street. It was caused by an electrical short circuit, and no loss of life was reported. Firefighting teams fully extinguished both blazes after responding to the two incidents in the Rusafa district.
