Two drones strike Duhok district from Sulaymaniyah, sparking large fire

SULAYMANIYAH, Iraq — Two drones struck the area around the village of Gichine in Duhok district, setting off a large fire in dry grass and vegetation, security officials in Sulaymaniyah said. The officials reported that the drones targeted areas near Casne Cave, and firefighting teams and relevant units were working to bring the blaze under control. The strike caused widespread burning of dry grass and plant cover in the surrounding area, according to the officials, who added that security assessments were still under way.
