Trump says Tehran agreed to allow nuclear inspectors into the country

WASHINGTON, United States — WASHINGTON — U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Tehran has agreed to admit nuclear inspectors and that the monitors will take part in International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) missions. Trump said American inspectors would join the IAEA to examine nuclear facilities in Iran. The U.S. president added that Tehran approved the inspectors' entry but said there was no rush regarding their arrival in Iran. International inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities have been largely disrupted since 2018, when Washington withdrew unilaterally from the Tehran nuclear agreement.
