Sulaymaniyah Marks Arefe Day with Vehicle Convoy and Prayers

Sulaymaniyah held a large Arefe Day celebration on Friday, with residents from different parts of the city taking part in a religious and social event that drew wide participation. The gathering reflected one of the annual traditions observed in the city. After the noon prayer, vehicle convoys decorated with flags and religious slogans moved through the main streets. Participants marked the occasion with takbirs and prayers as many people waiting along the roadside watched the procession. The program concluded at the Grand Mosque in Sulaymaniyah with prayers and hymns. The event was presented as part of the city’s long-running Arefe Day traditions.
