Separate Armed Incidents in Karbala and Kirkuk Leave One Injured

A family dispute in Karbala’s Al-Hur district left one person wounded by gunfire, and security forces detained three suspects in connection with the incident. During searches in the area, they also seized a large quantity of weapons and ammunition.
In a separate incident in Kirkuk, a man described as intoxicated fired 21 random shots into the air in the Al-Wasti area. No injuries were reported.
Security forces detained the suspect at the scene and confiscated a rifle found with him, along with seven ammunition magazines.
The two incidents highlight continuing security concerns in both Karbala and Kirkuk, where armed disputes and reckless firearm use remain a public safety risk.
