Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez marry privately in Portugal

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez married in a private civil ceremony at their home in Cascais, Portugal, following their engagement in August 2025. The couple exchanged vows in the living room where the family usually eats, in the presence of Ronaldo's children. The footballer was joined by his three children, twins Eva Maria and Mateo, Alana and Bella, along with Cristiano Junior from a previous relationship. Speaking to Vogue magazine, Rodríguez said she had once imagined a grand wedding with a palace, a long gown and a tiara, but changed her mind, preferring an intimate moment her younger children could remember as something special at the family table. The couple said they are planning a larger celebration wedding with family and friends, though no date has been set. Ronaldo told the magazine that every day with Georgina feels like a honeymoon. The newlyweds are not taking a post-wedding trip; Ronaldo is due in Riyadh the next day to begin the new season with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
