Qawqia Says He Is Leaving Al-Zawraa After Two Seasons

Iraq national team player Hassan Abdel Karim, known as Qawqia, has announced that he is leaving Al-Zawraa after two seasons with the Baghdad club. He said the departure was not his choice and conveyed a farewell message to supporters through his social media account. "Despite everything I carry in my heart, leaving Al-Zawraa is not my choice," Qawqia wrote, underscoring that the split was outside his will. He thanked fans who supported him throughout his time at the club. Qawqia said Al-Zawraa would remain in his heart wherever he goes next.
