SULAYMANIYAH, Iraq — One person was killed and another wounded in an armed dispute in Klar, a town under the Kermashin Administration in Sulaymaniyah governorate, according to local police. Colonel Soran Muhammad, spokesperson for the Kermashin police directorate, said the incident occurred on Saturday at the town’s market, where a gunman opened fire, killing one person and wounding another. The wounded individual was taken to a hospital, Muhammad said. Muhammad said the initial investigation indicated the shooting stemmed from a social dispute. He added that the wounded person was not connected to the deceased and was injured during the incident.
