BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraqi security forces arrested multiple suspects and seized weapons following an armed clash in Baghdad that left one person dead and another injured, the Baghdad Rusafa Police Command reported.
Officers recovered three Kalashnikov rifles and a pistol from those involved in the incident. One of the two injured individuals died after being taken to a hospital.
In a separate operation in the same city, the General Directorate for Combating Drugs announced it dismantled an alleged drug-trafficking network, seizing one kilogram of crystal methamphetamine and arresting four suspects.
Meanwhile, in Babil province, the Organized Crime Bureau detained a black market fuel seller along with private gas station owners accused of selling fuel above regulated prices.
