Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan is in Baghdad to promote his new film Asad, and said Iraq is one of the major Arab countries that shapes any artist’s success and generates the highest revenue for cinema films. He said the strong affection of Iraqi audiences for an artist also places a major responsibility on that performer.
Ramadan said the film will screen in 19 cinemas across Iraq. Set in a historical atmosphere, Asad combines war scenes with human emotions.
He also said this visit will not be his last, citing his deep admiration for the Iraqi people.
