Minister Maruf Calls for Unity and Solidarity on Eid al-Adha

Kurdistan Regional Government Minister for Ethnic and Religious Components Aydın Maruf congratulated Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and around the world on Eid al-Adha in a message marking the holiday. He described Eid al-Adha as a feast of goodness, happiness, tolerance and peace, and said he hoped it would bring joy, prosperity and solutions to problems and hardships. Maruf also used the occasion to call for greater harmony and unity among the different communities in the Kurdistan Region. He stressed the need to strengthen social solidarity. In closing, Maruf repeated his Eid greetings and wished that the holiday would return every year in peace and happiness.
