NEW YORK โ€” The New York Knicks overcame a 29-point deficit to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 107-106 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden, taking a 3-1 series lead. OG Anunoby sealed the victory with a dunk off a missed three-pointer by Jalen Brunson with 1.2 seconds remaining, capping New York's comeback from a 73-44 hole earlier in the game. Brunson scored 36 points to lead the Knicks, while Anunoby finished with 33. After Brunson's potential go-ahead three rimmed out, Anunoby followed the play and tapped the ball back through the hoop for the winning basket. New York took a 105-104 lead on the final possession and held on after Anunoby's put-back. Victor Wembanyama led the Spurs with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Dylan Harper added 21 and De'Aaron Fox and Devin Vassell scored 18 apiece. San Antonio set an NBA Finals record with 14 made three-pointers in the first half but could not sustain its lead.
