SANAA, Yemen โ€” Yemen's Houthi movement said it carried out new military operations against Saudi Arabia across three maritime zones and inside the kingdom, in a statement issued by the group's military spokesman, Yahya Sree. Speaking in a televised address, Sree said Houthi forces targeted Saudi oil tankers and military positions in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea, while also conducting operations against sites inside Saudi Arabia. He said the group struck Saudi forces and allied positions in several Yemeni regions, inflicting what he described as human and material losses. According to the spokesman, military equipment and facilities were destroyed during the operations, and the Houthis applied what he called new equations against the remnants of the war. Sree warned that any large-scale escalation would trigger a reciprocal response from the group. The statement also repeated the Houthis' longstanding demands: the lifting of the blockade on Houthi-held areas, an end to military operations and the withdrawal of foreign forces from Yemen. No independent confirmation of the strikes was immediately available.
