KIRKUK, Iraq โ€” A man in Kirkuk was contacted by a sweet and donut shop about an order he had placed roughly two years earlier, local media reported. The customer, Abdulrahman Ali, said a shop employee called to say an order in his name was ready for delivery, even though he had not placed any recent purchases. Ali said the order, valued at 25,000 dinars, was recorded in late 2024 and the original WhatsApp message did not reach the shop at the time. Years later, the entry resurfaced in the system and was processed for delivery. He noted that the order had never been cancelled or rejected, which may be why it remained active. Ali described the experience as strange, and the incident drew brief surprise and smiles from those around him.
