Kirkuk lawmaker says administrative approvals cleared for education oversight payments

KIRKUK, Iraq — A member of Iraq's parliament from Kirkuk, Mohammed Ali Naimi, said administrative approvals have been secured to release all outstanding education oversight payments held by the provincial Directorate of Education. Naimi said earlier delays in the payments have been resolved and that the process has been completed within its legal framework. He credited coordination between the Finance Ministry, the Education Ministry and related institutions for moving the file forward. The lawmaker said the case was tracked through official correspondence until the remaining obstacles were removed. He described protecting the rights of education personnel in Kirkuk as a priority and added that he will continue to follow the process until the funds reach the intended recipients. The statement said the administrative procedure to transfer all education oversight payments to the relevant staff in Kirkuk has been initiated.
