KIRKUK, Iraq โ Kirkuk International Airport will start direct flights to Dubai on June 21, 2026, the airport administration announced. The new route will operate three times a week, according to the statement.
Airport officials said the KirkukโDubai service is designed to meet growing travel demand between the two cities and to give passengers a more direct option for reaching the United Arab Emirates. The route adds an international link to the airport's existing network of regional and overseas destinations.
The administration described the launch as part of efforts to expand Kirkuk International Airport's flight network and to strengthen air connectivity with neighboring and regional countries. Officials said the new service is also expected to support economic and commercial activity between Iraq and the UAE.
