Iraq arranges 200-vehicle return transport for Najaf commemoration visitors

NAJAF, Iraq — Iraq's Hajj and Umrah Authority chief Sheikh Sami al-Masoudi said the body has taken part in services for visitors who came to Najaf to mark the anniversary of the death of the Prophet Muhammad. Under a visitor-services campaign run from the Prime Minister's Office, 200 vehicles have been allocated and a return transport plan has been prepared, he said. The return operation is part of ongoing work by relevant institutions during the Arbaeen period, aimed at ensuring visitors travel back safely and in an orderly manner after commemoration events in Najaf. Al-Masoudi said the plan's main goal is to ease transportation and complete the return process without disruption. According to the authority, the preparations are being carried out in coordination with official bodies within the framework of the visitor-services campaign launched by the Prime Minister's Office.
