AMMAN, Jordan โ Jordan's industrial exports to Iraq declined 13 percent in the first quarter of 2026, according to data from the Jordan Chamber of Industry.
Exports to Iraq fell to 193 million dinars, down from the previous year and accounting for 9 percent of Jordan's total industrial exports of 2.027 billion dinars. Iraq remained the third-largest market for Jordanian industrial products after the United States and Saudi Arabia, despite the year-over-year decrease of 28 million dinars.
Overall industrial exports grew 2.6 percent during the same period, driven primarily by gains in European and Asian markets. Exports to non-EU European countries increased by 95 million dinars, while shipments to EU member states rose by 72 million dinars.
Chamber of Industry Chairman Fathi Caghbir said the Iraq decline coincided with reduced exports to other key markets including the United States, India and Saudi Arabia.
