Jonathan Andic Rejects Murder Allegations in Isak Andic Death Probe

Jonathan Andic has rejected a murder accusation in Spain’s investigation into the 2024 death of Isak Andic, the founder of the Mango clothing empire. In an open letter to employees in Barcelona, he described the allegation as serious, unjust and unfounded. Andic said he will step down from his vice-chairmanship on the fashion group’s board to focus on his legal defence. He made his first public comments on the case as scrutiny over the death of his father continued. He said the perception of guilt surrounding him does not reflect the truth. Andic added that Isak Andic died after falling while the two were walking in the Montserrat mountains. He also said the investigation was initially treated as an accident before being reopened. The case has drawn public attention because it concerns the death of one of Spain’s best-known business figures.
