Iraqi Security Forces Neutralize Terrorists in Kirkuk Operation

Joint security forces neutralized several terrorists and destroyed a logistics hub during an intelligence-led operation in Kirkuk province. The mission was carried out by joint forces under the command of the 2nd Battalion of the 44th Infantry Brigade. During the operation, security forces successfully located and destroyed a terrorist shelter and a center used for providing logistical support. The Iraqi Ministry of Defense stated that the army remains committed to its national mandate of tracking terrorist remnants and eliminating their resource networks.
