Trump Rules Out Sanctions Relief Until Iran Abandons Uranium Enrichment

He reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear capabilities. Separately, Iranian state television announced plans to coordinate the management of the Strait of Hormuz with Oman to restore maritime traffic to pre-war levels. Major General Nasir Araste, a military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, claimed that the U.S. military presence in the Gulf has effectively ended. Araste warned that any potential conflict could escalate into a regional war spanning from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean.
