BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zeydi received Sami Imran al-Masoudi, head of Iraq's Hajj and Umrah Delegation, along with the delegation's senior officials, to congratulate them on a fourth consecutive first-place ranking among Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states for the organization and quality of services provided to Iraqi pilgrims.
According to a prime ministerial statement, al-Zeydi told the delegation that the standard of services offered to pilgrims had strengthened Iraq's standing, describing the achievement as a sign of sustained effort and quality.
Al-Zeydi said the government was prepared to support the delegation's programs and plans and stressed the importance of maintaining the results already obtained.
The meeting reviewed the delegation's work and upcoming plans, along with ways to address obstacles it faces. The delegation's leadership said it aims to raise service levels further during the upcoming pilgrimage season.
