Iraqi court sentences ISIS member to death in Nineveh

According to the council, the defendant was convicted of converting his own workshop into a depot for light and medium weapons and explosives, taking part in attacks targeting security forces and being involved in the killing of multiple officers. The court also found that he detonated a car bomb in the Ta'mim neighborhood on Mosul's left bank in 2021, killing four civilians and wounding others, and that he participated in the assault on Mosul. The ruling further stated that the defendant took part in storming Badush Prison and freeing detainees, and played a role in the killing of numerous inmates.
