BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih ez-Zeydi chaired the Cabinet's fifth regular meeting on Monday, addressing the country's general situation and pending agenda items.
The Cabinet approved the continuation of transferring revenues from petroleum product exports to an account designated by the Ministry of Finance.
In traffic-related decisions, the Cabinet ordered implementation of Decision No. 2024 and the Traffic General Directorate's circular No. 2024/5, requiring coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works.
The Cabinet forwarded the first amendment draft of Competition and Monopoly Prevention Law No. 2010/14 to Parliament. The government also approved a draft law ratifying an international agreement between Iraq and Spain covering security cooperation and crime prevention.
