BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq’s Meteorological Organization said on Monday that temperatures will rise across the country over the next four days, with partly cloudy weather expected in the central region and mostly clear skies in the north and south.
The agency said Monday’s forecast called for highs of 39 degrees in Baghdad and Karbala, 41 in Najaf, 42 in Dhi Qar, and 43 in Maysan, Muthanna and Basra.
It said Tuesday will be mostly clear, with temperatures rising slightly from the previous day.
The forecast added that mostly clear weather will continue on Wednesday, while temperatures are expected to remain similar to Tuesday.
