Iraq Team Arrives in Girona for Final World Cup Training Camp

Iraq’s national football delegation has arrived in Girona, Spain, for its final overseas training camp ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The camp is part of an intensive preparation program designed to sharpen the squad before the tournament begins next month in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Head coach Graham Arnold has organized the program, which will see the team use Girona’s high-performance facilities for tactical work and physical conditioning. The camp is intended to give Iraq a final round of structured preparation before the World Cup. The Iraq Football Association also unveiled the team’s official uniforms for the tournament. The kit set, produced by German sportswear brand JAKO, includes three designs for competition use. The classic white shirt will serve as the primary kit, while green will be used as the secondary strip and black as the third alternative. All three uniforms feature traditional national motifs.
